XVIIth International Congress of Neuropathology
11 September 2010 - 15 September 2010
Neuropathology continues to be the core discipline in research on diseases of the nervous system, linking basic and clinical neurosciences in diagnosis and research. Particularly in times of economic crisis, it is of pivotal importance to present neuropathology to the world as an indispensable and dynamic medicoscientific discipline. Remarkable advances in the neurosciences ensure that ICN 2010 will be a meeting of greatest interest and cutting-edge scientific reports in addition to high-level professional education. In the tradition of previous successful ICNs, there will be an outstanding list of Plenary Speakers on the most important topics, including a special Key Note Address, comprehensive Symposia, Workshops on controversial issues, and debate fora on the plethora of original inputs from Poster Presentations.
ICN 2010 will be held immediately in sequence to PRION 2010 (Sept. 8-11, 2010 - www.PRION2010.org), the global forum for research on prion diseases, at the same venue. This allows for the unique opportunity to have a joint meeting between both events on Sept. 11, with top-class symposia and lectures on transmissible and non-transmissible dementias.
